    If you’ve ever dreamed of sharing the big screen with a major movie star, you could get your chance right here in Music City.

    Shooting will start in January for Love Don’t Let Me Down, a new movie starring Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow,Tim McGraw, Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester and young actor Garrett Hedlund (Georgia Rule, Four Brothers). The movie will be shot in and around Nashville, and casting directors are looking for extras.

    Written and directed by Shana Feste, the movie is about a down-on-her-luck country singer (Paltrow) who meets a young, up-and-coming songwriter (Hedlund), and the two attempt to revive her career, with the help of her husband and manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen turned singer (Meester). Of course, a slew of Music Row woes and affairs of the heart slow down their progress.

    There will be an open casting call from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Musician’s Hall of Fame (301 Sixth Ave. S.). They’re looking for female and male actors of all ages in non-speaking roles, as well as guitarists, fiddlers, drummers, bass players and steel guitarists. No acting experience is necessary, but a recent snapshot is (at least 4-by-6 inches) and a pen. The photo is non-returnable, and without one you will not be considered.

    It’ll be in TN. They just said that they haven’t been given any information as to who to contact. :( I’d try to contact the company but I’m not sure who is ahead of the film? Any ideas on the production company or the director?

    It was great well except for the fact that i got to the hotel at 4 a.m. only to wake up at 7 a.m. and take a shower/get ready then be there at 8 just so i can be there 2 hours early in the freezing cold a temperature at 20 degrees. BUT HEY I’LL DO ANYTHING FOR GARRETT. It went really good i think. all i did was fill out a paper about myself and gave them the pic. then left. but some info is that filming begins Jan. 10th till March something
