The list for this movie is getting shorter. The only ones left on the list is Mike Vogel, Chris Evans & Garrett Hedlund.

Garrett Hedlund has not tested yet though Marvel is very keen on him. Earlier reports have suggested Hedlund’s reps balked at the nine-picture deal the actor playing Cap would have to sign, a deal that would include The Avengers and any of those possible sequels. The Avengers could begin filming as soon as January 2011.

i don’t think he’ll take it b/c garrett doesn’t seem like he likes to play the same character twice let alone nine times

no no no. just no. I’ll obviously be supportive and pumped if he gets it but I do not want to see do this and it doesnt really seem like something he would do in the first place. Chirs Evans I can get behind right now.

You know, I just don’t like the idea of garrett as captain america…if he DID get the part of course I would support him, but I think it’s just not the kind of thing I think he would do…I thought I saw somewhere that he said that he only wanted to do the more professional stuff…
