As you’re playing his son, did you watch any old Jeff Bridges movies to prepare?
Not really, I mean, I watched the original Tron! I kind of got a kick out of it, particularly the visual effects back then. But Jeff is like a dream father. He’s — Jesus — a hard worker. He’s got a youthfullness and he’s so inspired by everything about life. And watching him kind of bicker with Bruce about what they had to go through in the old days on Tron is pretty funny.Are you working on On The Road now?
Yeah, i did this country Film, Country Strong, with Gwenyth Paltrow immediately after we finished Tron. Now we’re halfway through filming On The Road with Walter Salles directing. The one was extremly special to me because when i first read it at 16 or 17, I looked up online and it said Frances Ford Copploa was producing or directing it. I said, “Great. I’ll never get a chance at this.” Now i’m playing Dean Moriarty and I couldn’t be happier. I had been attached to it since September 2007. And I think, man, if i hadn’t had been able to do it, a part of me would have definitely drowned a little bit. I’m so glad that all the stars aligned the way they have.
Don’t you love all the mags featuring Garrett and Tron Legacy? I can’t believe the movie is about a month away. I am so excited!!!! I think we waited long enough.

Doesnt dean have a sex scene in the book I remember skimming through it and had something in there….I don’t know my facts I’ll look at it later.
