One of the board members at Garrett Minds, Ailyshah, got to attend the Denver Bash on Friday that was held to celebrate Neal Cassady’s birthday. While there, she found out that the local PBS station has been working on a documentary about Neal. I looked but couldn’t find a release date/air date for the documentary (I don’t think the one on the video is correct).
Description of the video from the Colorado Public Television website:
Episode: Neal Cassady: The Denver Years
A preview of a new documentary that looks at Neal Cassady’s humble beginnings in Denver. Cassady was a charismatic, larger then life character. His charm, manic energy, sexual swagger, and free flowing verbosity made him the authentic ‘hero’ of the beat generation. He was introduced to the world as Dean Moriarty in Jack Kerouac’s classic, On The Road.
Watch Neal Cassady: The Denver Years on PBS. See more from Colorado Public Television.

Hello!
Thank you so much for sharing the link about Neal Cassady: The Denver Years!
We just launched a kickstarter campaign to finalize production costs and will be happy to premiere the film this spring.
