From L&PM Editores:
As announced, here are the two photos we promised to share with the On The Road fans. The idea was to release them on Jack Kerouac’s 90th birthday, on March 12th, but we got so anxious to share with as many people as we could that we created a challenge: give 300 retweets to a link so the photos could be out there. So, we are paying that promise!

The first photo “Dean on bennies” was captured by Greg Smith in a Texas road during the cross-country trip done by the movie’s cast & crew to film the second unit, going through the same roads described in On The Road.

The second photo was made inside the Hudson also by Greg Smith. Between San José and San Francisco. Garrett drives the car, with Al Hinkle (who helped Neal Cassady to buy the Hudson 1947 that is mentioned in OTR) in the backseat. 55 years latter, after the original adventure, Al Hinkle, Garrett Hedlund and John Cassady, Neal’s son, took the Hudson to south California, down to San Francisco, to deliver the car used in the movie making to the Beat Museum- its new home.
